Easter Wednesday
Divine Mercy Novena - Day Six
Dear Family of Mary!
Our
Lady asks us to become purified and ready to join her in the Triumph of
her Heart! She desires that the Mercy of her Son could reach all
mankind. We are being called to a glorious task, one that requires
humility and meekness! Let us pray!
"Dear children! I come to you as a Mother with gifts. I come with love and mercy. Dear children, mine is a big heart. In it, I desire all of your hearts, purified by fasting and prayer. I desire that, through love, our hearts may triumph together. I desire that through that triumph you may see the real Truth, the real Way and the real Life. I desire that you may see my Son. Thank you." (March 18, 2007)
Jesus and St. Faustina speak about Mercy:
When,
on one occasion, my confessor told me to ask the Lord Jesus the meaning
of the two rays in the image, I answered, "Very well, I will ask the
Lord."
During prayer I head these words within me: The
two rays denote Blood and Water. The pale ray stands for the Water
which makes souls righteous. The red ray stands for the Blood which is
the life of souls......
These two rays issued forth from the very depths of My tender mercy when My agonized Heart was opened by a lance on the Cross.
These
rays shield souls from the wrath of My Father. Happy is the one who
will dwell in their shelter, for the just hand of God shall not lay hold
of him. I desire that the first Sunday after Easter be the Feast of
Mercy.
+Ask
of my faithful servant [Father Sopocko] that, on this day, he tell the
whole world of My great mercy; that whoever approaches the Fount of Life
on this day will be granted complete remission of sins and punishment.
+Mankind will not have peace until it turns with trust to My mercy.
+Oh,
how much I am hurt by a soul's distrust! Such a soul professes that I
am Holy and Just, but does not believe that I am Mercy and does not
trust in My Goodness. Even the devils glorify My Justice but do not
believe in My Goodness.
My Heart rejoices in this title of Mercy.
Proclaim that mercy is the greatest attribute of God. All the works of My hands are crowned with mercy.

Eternal Love, I want all the souls You have created to come to know
You. I would like to be a priest, for then I would speak without cease
about Your mercy to sinful souls drowned in despair. I would like to be a
missionary and carry the light of faith to savage nations in order to
make You known to souls, and to be completely consumed for them and to
die a martyr's death, just as You died for them and for me. O Jesus, I
know only too well that I can be a priest, a missionary, a preacher, and
that I can die a martyr's death by completely emptying myself and
denying myself for love of You, O Jesus, and of immortal souls. (299 -

Divine Mercy Novena Day Six
Today
bring to Me THE MEEK AND HUMBLE SOULS AND THE SOULS OF LITTLE CHILDREN,
and immerse them in My mercy. These souls most closely resemble My
Heart. They strengthened Me during My bitter agony. I saw them as
earthly Angels, who will keep vigil at My altars. I pour out upon them
whole torrents of grace. Only the humble soul is capable of receiving My
grace. I favor humble souls with My confidence.
Most Merciful Jesus, You yourself have said, "Learn from Me for I am meek and humble of heart." Receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart all meek and humble souls and the souls of little children. These souls send all heaven into ecstasy and they are the heavenly Father's favorites. They are a sweet-smelling bouquet before the throne of God; God Himself takes delight in their fragrance. These souls have a permanent abode in Your Most Compassionate Heart, O Jesus, and they unceasingly sing out a hymn of love and mercy.
Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon meek souls, upon humble souls, and upon little children who are enfolded in the abode which is the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. These souls bear the closest resemblance to Your Son. Their fragrance rises from the earth and reaches Your very throne. Father of mercy and of all goodness, I beg You by the love You bear these souls and by the delight You take in them: Bless the whole world, that all souls together may sing out the praises of Your mercy for endless ages. Amen.
