Dear Family of Mary!
January 2, 2015
"Dear children, I am here among you as a mother who desires to help you to come to know the truth. While I lived your life on earth I had knowledge of the truth, and by this alone, a piece of Heaven on earth. That is why I desire the same for you, my children. The Heavenly Father desires pure hearts filled with the knowledge of the truth. He desires for you to love all those whom you meet, because I also love my Son in all of you. This is the beginning of coming to know the truth. Many false truths are being offered to you. You will overcome them with a heart cleansed by fasting, prayer, penance and the Gospel. This is the only truth and it is the truth which my Son left you. You do not need to examine it much. What is asked of you, as I also have done, is to love and to give. My children, if you love, your heart will be a home for my Son and me, and the words of my Son will be the guiding light in your life. My children, I will make use of you, apostles of love, to help all of my children to come to know the truth. My children, I have always prayed for the Church of my Son, and so I also ask the same of you. Pray that your shepherds may come to shine forth with the love of my Son. Thank you."
Our
Lady speaks to us of the truth. She tells us that she had knowledge of
the truth while she lived on earth. We can imagine that because of her
Immaculate Conception, Mary could perceive the truth in everything. She
was able to understand her life in terms of God at all times because she
had never been separated from Him. Every experience Mary had was filled
with the presence of God. This was the truth. God exists. God created
everything. God loves us. And we can love Him back. Like another
dimension, the truth of God added meaning to everything for Mary. It
made her life Heaven on earth.
Of
course, Mary's life was not easy or devoid of suffering. But her hard
work, her difficulties, her sorrows and her challenges were all met with
that same awareness, that God exists, He loves us, He created us, and
we can love Him back even in the hard things. Our Lady walked with God
every day, all day.
I
must admit that when I heard Our Lady say that her knowledge of the
truth made her life on earth a piece of heaven, I was intrigued. I have
always wanted to be filled with the truth of God. But it has seemed to
me that the truth of God comes at a great cost. To live by this truth
means that we must live a life in contradiction to the world, and so our
lives will be filled with suffering, pain, persecution, etc. So even
though it is a good life, one worth living, it is not a piece of Heaven!
But Our Lady says, "While
I lived your life on earth I had knowledge of the truth, and by this
alone, a piece of Heaven on earth. That is why I desire the same for
you, my children." She insists that it was only the knowledge
of the truth that made her life a piece of Heaven on earth. That
knowledge must have changed everything for Mary. And she tells us it
will change everything for us as well. It will turn our fears into hope,
our timidity into courage, our depression into joy! What could possibly
be powerful enough to do all that?
Again,
all I can say it that the knowledge of the truth has to begin with the
simple understanding the God exists, He created us, He loves us, and we
can love Him. God is everything, and He can do everything, and we are
his children. God knows what is best for us, and His Word gives us the
best. The Father has given us the Son, to bring us back to Him. We are
chosen and saved. And we will live forever with Him, due to His great
mercy.
Well,
this is a beginning. Our Lady has given us something wonderful to hope
for. A life that is a piece of Heaven on earth. She wants us prepared to
live that life. 2015 will be a fantastic year if we listen to her.
