Exodus 16:4 The pot of manna (Ex. 16:33-34), Aaron's rod and the book of the law can be properly described as being in the same place as the ark of the covenant. These are the contents of the Ark of the Covenant. Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life; he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst." John 6:32-35 A golden pot of manna was kept in The Ark of The Covenant as a reminder to all generations of God's Provision. But even more beautiful than this picture of God's provision of manna is God's provision of His Son. Just as the children of Isreal were sustained by manna in the wilderness, so are we sustained by the true 'Bread from Heaven', Jesus Christ; and in Him we have eternal life. More
