Dear Family of Mary!

"Dear children! I call you to work on your personal conversion. You are still far from meeting with God in your heart. Therefore, spend all the more time in prayer and Adoration of Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Altar, for Him to change you and to put into your hearts a living faith and a desire for eternal life. Everything is passing, little children, only God is not passing. I am with you and I encourage you with love. Thank you for having responded to my call." (March 25, 2008)

Mother Mary continually draws us to personal conversion.  She mentioned it in this message of 2008 and in the September 25, 2010 message.  Personal conversion is our starting point.  It is our act of the will in which we turn toward God and away from ourselves and all false gods. Our conversion is our choice to seek the Lord only.  But how do we find the Lord that we seek?  How do meet the One we are turning towards?

Adoration of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament is at the heart of it all.  It is here that we encounter Jesus in His divine and human person, waiting for us in silence.  When we are with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, adoring Him, gazing upon Him, drinking in His presence, we are changed by Him.  Our hearts receive Him and know Him.  We meet God.

These words of St. Faustina describe such a meeting so well:

Jesus, Delight of my soul, Bread of Angels,
My whole being is plunged in You,
And I live Your divine life as do the elect in heaven,
And the reality of this life will not cease, though I be laid in the grave.

Jesus-Eucharist, Immortal God,
Who dwell in my heart without cease,
When I possess You, death itself can do me no harm.
Love tells me that I will see You at life's end.

Permeated by Your divine life,
I gaze with assurance at the heavens thrown open for me,
And death will shame-facedly go away, empty-handed,
For Your divine life is contained within my soul.

And although by Your holy will, O Lord,
Death is to touch my body,
I want this dissolution to come as quickly as possible,
For through it I am entering eternal life.

Jesus-Eucharist, life of my soul,
You have raised me up to the eternal spheres,
And this, by Your agony and death midst terrible tortures. (Diary 1393)

Oh how St. Faustina loved Jesus, and how this love moved her to desire eternal life!  Just as Mother Mary said, "Therefore, spend all the more time in prayer and Adoration of Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Altar, for Him to change you and to put into your hearts a living faith and a desire for eternal life."  May our hearts be inflamed with this same love and desire!  Oh Jesus, in the Blessed Sacrament, we adore You!

In Jesus and Mary!
