Mary TV Daily Reflection 10/19/10

Saint John de Brebeuf and Saint Isaac Jogues and their companions

Dear Family of Mary!

"Dear children!  Today I invite you to conversion.  This is the most important message that I have given you here.  Little children, I wish that each of you become a carrier of my messages.  I invite you, little children, to live the messages that I have given you over these years.  This time is a time of grace. Especially now, when the Church also is inviting you to prayer and conversion.  I also, little children, invite you to live my messages that I have given you during the time since I have appeared here.  Thank you for having responded to my call." (February 25, 1996)

Our Lady asks us to be carriers of her messages.  This is one of the reasons I have attempted to write these reflections over the past 10 years.  I have felt led to try to keep a focus on the messages of Our Lady on a daily basis, so that we could remain mindful of them and possibly begin to live them.  It has been a great joy to sit down each night and ask the Holy Spirit to lead me to the right message and then to give me some light on it.  Some nights I am more docile than others!  But even just reading the messages is life giving.  They begin to work on me, changing me from the inside!

Our Lady tells us in this message from 1996 that "This is a time of grace."  I think we can safely say that the past 29 years have been a time of grace like never before!  Our Lady has been coming to the visionaries each day for 29 years, and when she has come she has been faithfully praying with us, blessing us, teaching us, and loving us every day in this special way.  What a time of grace!  Many young people have not lived a day on which Our Lady has not come!  Wow!

Living Our Lady's messages is a full time job!  She tells us that conversion is the most important message.  Of course, we understand that.  Unless we turn, and orient our lives towards God, we will not be able to receive all the gifts He has for us, all the blessings that He is pouring out on us.  Our conversion opens us up to grace.  It is the first step and the necessary step for us each day.

Then, as we convert, we can move into deeper prayer, Holy Mass and the Sacraments, fasting and intercessory prayer, good works and sacrificial love, and the peace that surpasses all understanding!  All of these things are possible for us through Our Lady's guidance and care.  The good fruit that comes from living Our Lady's messages begins to show and others are drawn to her as well.

Jesus said "For no good tree bears bad fruit, nor again does a bad tree bear good fruit; for each tree is known by its own fruit." (Luke 6:43-44)  Our Lady knows how to make a good tree.  Her messages are the fertilizer that will enrich the tree and make it healthy.  From such a tree, fed by Our Lady and her messages, good fruit will form.  We want to be good trees.  As we listen to Our Lady's messages and put them into practice, we will become good trees, filled with life.

In Jesus and Mary!
